On November 6, 2021 we received the call that no parent is prepared for. My sweet son of 19 years of age left us forever. My whole world shattered before me. I had experienced loss of grandparents and my sweet mother, but this shook me to my very core. Ismael was a beautiful soul inside and out. The holidays have not been the same since. Ismael loved the holidays so much. He loved the act of opening presents even if they were silly. He gave me the sweetest gifts and I will treasure them until it’s my turn to be with him.
