The Grief Hub was born out of love, resilience, and a deeply personal journey. In March 2023, I faced the heartbreaking loss of my beloved son, Josh, at just 20 years old after a three year battle with mental illness. Through this unimaginable pain, I came to understand the profound loneliness and isolation that grief can impose.

As a former English teacher, Certified Grief Educator, and writer, I wear many hats, but the titles closest to my heart are Josh's Mom and now, Bereaved Mom. I feel a deep responsibility not only to honor my son’s memory but also to embrace the things that brought him joy and now also bring me comfort—connecting with people and offering solace through shared experiences.

In the second year of my grief journey, I realized how vital connection and support are in moving forward. Grief, I’ve learned, often thrives in isolation, feeding on feelings of separateness. This realization inspired me to create a nurturing space where others walking a similar path can find connection, understanding, and support.

My mission is to empower individuals navigating grief by offering tools, creative outlets, resources, and a compassionate community to help them face each day with hope and renewed strength. I am deeply passionate about being a guiding light for those seeking comfort in their darkest hours. So take a moment to explore, find your people, and connect—you don’t have to walk this path alone.
